Job summary

Search Index Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced AWS specialist to manage cloud infrastructure across production and non-production environments in Singapore. You will ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing services.

You will implement IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation, monitor with CloudWatch, and drive cost optimization, security controls, and incident resolution. After-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or system operations.
• Hands-on AWS services experience (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation (IaC).
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell; CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, Linux/Windows admin, security best practices.
• AWS certifications preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure across production and non-production.

• Participate in after-hours maintenance, deployments, and incidents.

Job Scope

• Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing environments across production and non-production system.
• Support cloud services including EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, networking, and infrastructure configurations.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform/CloudFormation and support deployment activities.
• Monitor system performance, logging, and alerts using CloudWatch and observability tools; perform troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, security controls, and compliance requirements to maintain operational resilience.
• Manage cloud networking, certificate activities, and connectivity between cloud and on-premise systems.
• Support cloud cost optimisation, maintain technical documentation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in after-hours support for maintenance, deployments, and critical incident activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or system operation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud networking concepts, Linux/Windows administration, and security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace or Grafana is advantageous.
• AWS certification (Solutions Architect, SysOps, DevOps) preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to support after-hours maintenance and incident activities.
