Job summary

StarHub is seeking a Cloud DevOps Automation Engineer to design and operate automation-first cloud platforms across AWS environments. The role bridges infrastructure, platform engineering and developer experience to enable scalable, secure deployments.

Responsibilities include automating multi-account AWS with AFT/CFCT, building CI/CD pipelines, and creating reusable scaffolds with GitOps using ArgoCD/ Flux. Emphasis on eliminating manual tasks and delivering reliable, self-service onboarding.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating automation-first cloud platforms on AWS.
• Proven ability to manage multi-account AWS environments with automation.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Ability to develop reusable scaffolds and templates for automated provisioning.
• Experience with IaC and automation frameworks to enforce security and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end automation frameworks for AWS infrastructure, EKS platforms, and application delivery.
• Own and operate AWS multi-account environments using AFT and CFCT, driven by automation.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Develop reusable scaffolds and templates that are fully automation-enabled.
• Ensure infrastructure, deployments and operations are automated, repeatable, and auditable.
• Drive operational excellence through automation of monitoring, recovery and scaling.
• Enable self-service capabilities via Backstage and automation pipelines.
• Reduce manual intervention and improve deployment speed and reliability.
