National University Hospital is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform and interpret diagnostic procedures and participate in the daily laboratory operations. The role involves processing specimens, operating the LIS, ensuring timely reporting of results, and maintaining quality control under supervision.

The candidate should hold a BSc or equivalent in Medical Laboratory Science, and preferably have 1–2 years of clinical laboratory experience with strong laboratory skills.

Qualificações

• BSc or equivalent in Medical Laboratory Science.
• Preferably with 1-2 years Clinical Laboratory experience and good or excellent performance.
• Good laboratory skills.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in and supervise reception of laboratory specimens and reject unsuitable ones.
• Operate Laboratory Information System for order entry, result entry, and quality reporting.
• Perform procedures in accordance with laboratory protocols and report critical values.
• Resolve customer queries and maintain quality control procedures.
• Undertake basic maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation.
