Job summary

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in Biomedical Science, Biological Science, Medical Technology or equivalent.
• Candidates with significant years of relevant work experience will be considered for senior positions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• May be required to work on rotating shifts.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory analyses on biological specimens using a wide range of specialized equipment according to SOPs in Biochemistry, Haematology, or Blood Bank.
• Ensure accurate laboratory test results are reported within turnaround time.
• Perform function checks and equipment maintenance.
• Monitor inventory and supplies for smooth daily operations.
• Participate in quality assurance and management activities according to established policies and procedures.
• Work closely with laboratory supervisors to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
