Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Laboratory Technologist for a hospital laboratory in Singapore. You will perform a variety of laboratory tests, rotating through sections to deliver accurate results that support physicians' diagnoses, with minimal supervision.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science or equivalent and 2–3 years of medical technologist experience. You will assist in training, maintain cleanliness, manage inventory, review QC results, and participate in instrument maintenance

Qualifications

Min Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent.
With a minimum of 2 to 3 years of medical technologist experience.

Responsibilities

Perform routine test procedures, automated or manual, in the laboratory with little direct supervision.
Assist in training of new personnel.
Maintain a clean and well organised work area.
Maintain proper inventory level of all supplies and report any deficiencies.
Review daily QC results and discuss issues with the supervisor.
Check instrument performance and report any that are not functioning properly.
Support flexible staffing and participate in shift duties.
Comply with regulatory guidelines and participate in proficiency testing programs.
Participate in routine maintenance of instruments and in ongoing CME and professional development.
Develop rapport with Laboratory Staff and other Hospital departments.
Carry out other duties as assigned by management.
