Job summary

AITbiotech Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Bioinformatics Scientist to own interpretation and reporting across a growing NGS panel menu. You will run pipelines, curate clinical knowledge, and draft reports converting sequencing data into clinical results.

The role involves variant curation across somatic and germline testing, collaboration with the R&D team, and opportunity to grow into a leadership role as the panel menu expands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Bioinformatics, Genetics, Genomics, Molecular biology or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years working experience in related field.
• Experience interpreting NGS variant data with familiarity with somatic/germline tiering.
• Comfortable with Linux command line and scripting (Python, R, bash) to handle and QC data.
• Familiarity with ClinVar, COSMIC, gnomAD, OncoKB and ACMG criteria.
• Clear written English for clinical reports.

Responsibilities

• Run and monitor NGS analysis pipelines across the panel menu and QC samples.
• Use scripts to handle, QC and summarise data; apply pipelines built by R&D team.
• Curate and maintain clinical knowledge base: variant classifications and evidence.
• Draft structured, therapy- or condition-linked reports for review and sign-off.
• Analyse data from validation studies and feed outputs to records maintained by Quality.
