Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE “O” Level or equivalent or healthcare experience.
• 1 year of experience in a clinic or healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to communicate with Chinese-speaking patients.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and schedule appointments.
• Record medical histories.
• Dispense medication accurately.
• Update billing and invoicing systems.
• Reconcile daily cash and electronic transactions.
• Assist and chaperone doctors during consultations.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms.
• Conduct monthly inventory of medications and supplies.
• Communicate with patients to address inquiries and provide assistance.
• Follow clinic policies, procedures and safety protocols.
• Work shifts (morning/afternoon/night).

CLINIC ASSISTANT

Job Overview

As a Clinic Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the clinic. You will help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for patients and medical staff, while supporting both administrative and clinical functions.

• Perform general administrative duties as assigned by the Clinic Supervisor or Manager, including:
  • Patient registration and appointment scheduling
  • Recording medical histories
  • Dispensing medication accurately
  • Updating medical billing and invoicing systems
  • Reconciling daily cash and electronic transactions
• Assist and chaperone doctors during patient consultations and examinations
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are well-stocked and clean
• Conduct monthly inventory of medications and consumables
• Communicate effectively with patients to address inquiries and provide assistance
• Comply with all clinic policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Able to work shifts (morning/ afternoon/ night)
• Willingness to work at different clinic locations within the organization when needed

Requirements

• Minimum GCE “O” Level or equivalent or healthcare experience
• At least 1 year of experience in a clinic or healthcare setting (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Familiarity with clinical tools and basic medical procedures
