Job summary

Outpost Climbing is a climbing lifestyle hub offering family-friendly and sport climbing spaces, located at 464 Crawford Lane. We seek a Gym Service Crew member to manage front desk tasks, ensure customer satisfaction, maintain safety and cleanliness, and support logistics and admin duties.

The role blends on-floor activity with behind-the-scenes operations, emphasizing a welcoming, safe environment for climbers of all ages and skill levels. Weekend and public holiday shifts apply.

Qualifications

• Friendly, service-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Able to perform basic administrative tasks and use digital systems.
• Capable of a 5-day work week including weekends/public holidays on rotation.
• Experience in climbing or sports/leisure industry is a plus; SNCS Level 1 or 2 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counter & Floor Operations – front-facing duties including cashiering, check-in, safety checks, and guest service.
• Customer Experience Management – monitor service quality and foster an inclusive, safe environment.
• Facilities & Logistics Upkeep – maintain cleanliness, safety of climbing areas and gear, assist events.
• Administrative Support – handle general admin and ad hoc duties supporting gym operations.
