Qualifications

• Degree in international policy, environmental studies, sustainability or relevant field.
• A minimum of 10 years’ working experience, with at least five in partnerships and development work in the non-profit sector or in an international development agency.
• Demonstrated experience and strong understanding of climate and sustainability issues. Familiarity with one or more PAA’s climate focus areas would be advantageous.
• Proven experience engaging stakeholders across Asia including government agencies, philanthropic funders, development organisations, private sector partners and/or regional institutions.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, navigate diverse perspectives and build consensus.
• Ability to translate complex climate challenges and solutions into clear, compelling partnership and funding propositions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams, manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Cross-functional competencies and experience of working in a matrix organisation would be an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Shape a portfolio and partnerships strategy, drawing on an understanding of regional climate priorities, challenges and emerging solutions to mobilise capital from members and partners towards measurable outcomes in mitigation and adaptation.
• Evaluate and translate climate solutions into propositions that help funders give at speed and scale.
• Build and deepen relationships with members, funders and programme partners, surfacing ideas that secure their support for PAA’s projects.
• Lead delivery of projects, including proposals, concept notes, impact measurement and reporting.
• Represent PAA in regional dialogues, covenings and multi-stakeholder engagements with experts, implementers and policymakers, to build coalitions that turn shared priorities into funded action.
