Job summary

Beecroft Animal Specialist & Emergency Hospital in Singapore seeks a motivated concierge lead to ensure outstanding client service at the front desk. You will supervise front-facing staff, coordinate appointments, and uphold service standards across the lobby in collaboration with the HOD/AHOD.

The role requires at least three years in a veterinary or medical setting, strong animal welfare commitment, reliability under pressure, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor concierge/front-facing staff; assist with scheduling, meetings, and performance feedback with the HOD/AHOD.

• Oversee front-of-house operations: reception, client registration, appointments, and coordination with other departments.
• Resolve client and operational issues within established guidelines and maintain clear communication with clients and staff.

Key responsibilities include:

• Team Leadership: Train, supervise, mentor and motivate concierge/front-facing staff; assist with manpower scheduling, team meetings, performance feedback and adherence to service standards in collaboration with the HOD/AHOD.
• Client Service & Relationship Management: Deliver personalised service, anticipate client needs, manage enquiries and complaints professionally, and build strong relationships with clients.
• Front-of-House Operations: Ensure the reception/lobby is organised and presentable, assist with client registration and appointments, coordinate with Front Desk and other departments, and ensure clients are appropriately attended to.
• Problem-Solving & Communication: Resolve client and operational issues within established guidelines, elevate complex matters appropriately, and maintain clear communication with clients, staff and management.

Desired skills and experience:

• Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in a veterinary clinic, medical clinic, or customer service role is required.
• Animal Welfare Passion: A strong commitment to providing excellent care to both animals and clients.
• Dependability: Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with the team.
