Job summary

Beecroft Animal Specialist & Emergency Hospital in Singapore is seeking a Veterinary Emergency Nurse to join our 24/7 ECC team. You will triage new cases, assist with anesthesia monitoring, and support inpatient care, especially in the ICU.

Responsibilities include radiographic imaging, restraining patients, preparing for surgery, postoperative care, and clear communication with clients. Continuous learning through lectures and journals is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Diploma in veterinary technology or relevant nursing qualifications.
• Minimum 1 year of veterinary industry experience.
• Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure.

• Triage and facilitate the admission of new cases.
• Assist anesthesia monitoring and recovery for emergency cases.
• Assist emergency veterinarians in the care and treatment of inpatients, including those in the ICU.
• Monitor critical patients in the ICU ward.
• Perform radiographic imaging.
• Restrain patients for examinations and treatments.
• Prepare and discharge patients, including preoperative preparations, postoperative bandaging, and recovery.
• Communicate effectively with clients.
• Participate in inpatient rounds and pursue continuous learning through development lectures, reading relevant books, and journals.
