Job summary

People Profilers Pte Ltd is seeking a motivated candidate to assist with marine insurance claims, liaising with clients and insurers to ensure smooth processing from notification to settlement.

The role requires a Diploma in any discipline, strong communication, and meticulous organisation with good MS Office skills. Prior claims experience is advantageous, and candidates should be prepared to coordinate with surveyors and underwriters.

Responsibilities

• Handle and process insurance claims for clients, mainly marine insurance.
• Record new claim notifications and monitor progress to settlement.
• Coordinate with clients, insurers, surveyors, adjusters and related parties.
• Assist in arranging surveyors for damage assessment when required.
• Review supporting documents and bills before submission to insurers or surveyors.
• Follow up with underwriters to ensure timely review and fair settlement.
• Update clients on claim status and respond to enquiries.
• Prepare claims records and loss statistics; support payment/documentation matters.

Requirements

• Diploma in any discipline.
• Candidates who possess claims, insurance or related experience will be advantageous.
• Good communication skills and able to liaise with clients and insurers.
• Meticulous, organised and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
