Job summary

AJ Consultancy Services Pte Ltd, based in Singapore, seeks an experienced marine cargo claims professional to manage end-to-end claims from notification through settlement.

You will review cargo insurance policies, assess liability, and prepare clear narrative reports for clients. The role involves pursuing subrogation/recovery and maintaining strong client relationships within the maritime insurance landscape.

Qualifications

• Experienced in marine cargo claims, maritime law, insurance claims, loss adjusting or a related field, and able to work independently.
• Analytical, organised and confident assessing policy coverage and liability.
• A strong communicator and negotiator.
• Comfortable meeting people, networking and building relationships.
• Someone who looks for solutions and is interested in improving how the business operates.
• Experience in subrogation/recovery and third-party liability claims is an advantage.
• Relevant insurance, maritime or professional qualifications are advantageous.
