Job summary

Rich Construction Company Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Structural Coordinator to lead a team of coordinators and BIM modellers in design and coordination works. You will perform design, analysis and planning for civil/structural engineering tasks and prepare calculations and drawings for authority submissions.

Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and other trades to resolve technical issues.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering / Building.
• Good knowledge of Structural specifications & requirements.
• 5-8 years’ of working experiences in main contractor companies preferably in large scale commercial projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of structural coordinators and BIM Modellers in design and coordination works.
• Design, analysis and plan for Civil & Structural engineering works.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings and carry out Authority submissions.
• Responsible for timely submission of plans and reports to Consultant and Authorities.
• Coordinate & liaise with consultant, sub-con and other trades eg M&E and architectural for project specifications & other technical issues.
• Assist in project coordination and oversee of all structural/Civil works on site and ensure all related activities are carried out as per drawings.
• Attend meetings inclusive technical meetings and site walks during construction phase.
• Keep track of test reports, tests, ST, Green Mark scheme and constructability scheme.
• Document control and compilation accordance to company ISO standard.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering / Building
• Good knowledge of Structural specifications & requirements
