Job summary

China State Construction Engineering Corporation Limited Singapore Branch is seeking a senior professional to lead a team of Structural coordinators in design and coordination works. You will handle design, analysis, and planning for Civil & Structural projects, preparing calculations, drawings and submissions to authorities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering / Building is required.
• Strong knowledge of structural specifications and requirements.
• Familiar with Eurocodes and local authorities submissions.
• Min 5-8 years’ experience in main contractor or consultancy firms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Structural coordinators in design and coordination works.
• Design, analysis and plans for Civil & Structural engineering works.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings and carry out Authority submissions.
• Ensure timely submission of plans and reports to Consultants and Authorities.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and other trades (M&E, architecture).
• Assist in project coordination and oversee all structural/Civil works on site as per drawings.
• Attend meetings including technical meetings.
• Track test reports, tests and constructability schemes.
• Maintain document control and ensure ISO-compliant records.

Job description

• Responsible for managing a team of Structural coordinators in the design and coordination works;
• Design, analysis and plan for Civil & Structural engineering works
• Prepare design calculations, drawings and carry out Authority submissions
• Responsible for timely submission of plans and reports to Consultant and Authorities
• To coordinate & liaise with consultant, sub-con and other trades eg M&E and architectural for projects specifications & other technical issues
• To assist in project coordination and oversee of all structural/Civil works on site and ensure all related activities are carried out as per drawings
• Attend meetings inclusive technical meetings
• Keep track of test reports, tests, ST, Green Mark scheme and constructability scheme
• Document control and compilation accordance to company ISO standard

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering / Building
• Good knowledge of Structural specifications & requirements
• Strong in design concept, familiar with Eurocodes and local authorities submission.
• Min 5-8 years’ of working experiences in main contractor companies or consultancy firm
• Highly motivated and independent with excellent team spirit and communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills
