Job summary

China Construction(South Pacific) Development Company Pte Ltd is seeking a Structural Coordinator to lead a team of coordinators in design and coordination activities for Civil & Structural engineering projects in Singapore. You will prepare calculations, drawings, and liaise with consultants and authorities to ensure timely submissions and approvals.

The role requires a degree or diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering, strong knowledge of Eurocodes, and excellent communication skills to

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Structural coordinators for design and coordination works.
• Design, analyze and plan Civil & Structural engineering projects.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings and submit to authorities and consultants.
• Ensure timely submission of plans and reports to Consultants and Authorities.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and other trades (MEP, architecture).
• Oversee all structural/civil works on site and ensure compliance with drawings.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing a team of Structural coordinators in the design and coordination works;
• Design, analysis and plan for Civil & Structural engineering works
• Prepare design calculations, drawings and carry out Authority submissions
• Responsible for timely submission of plans and reports to Consultant and Authorities
• To coordinate & liaise with consultant, sub-con and other trades eg M&E and architectural for projects specifications & other technical issues
• To assist in project coordination and oversee of all structural/Civil works on site and ensure all related activities are carried out as per drawings
• Attend meetings inclusive technical meetings
• Keep track of test reports, tests, ST, Green Mark scheme and constructability scheme
• Document control and compilation accordance to company ISO standard

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering / Building
• Good knowledge of Structural specifications & requirements
• Strong in design concept, familiar with Eurocodes and local authorities submission.
• Min 5-8 years' of working experiences in main contractor companies or consultancy firm
• Highly motivated and independent with excellent team spirit and communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills
