CHINA CONSTRUCTION (SOUTH PACIFIC) DEVELOPMENT CO. PTE. LTD.

is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to lead a team of coordinators in design and coordination works. You will plan, design, analyze and prepare drawings and submissions for authorities, ensuring timely reporting to consultants and authorities. The role requires strong design concepts, familiarity with Eurocodes, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Building.
• Strong knowledge of structural specifications and requirements.
• Familiarity with Eurocodes and local authorities submissions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of structural coordinators for design and coordination works.
• Design, Analysis and planning for civil and structural engineering works.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings and submissions to authorities.
• Ensure timely submission of plans and reports to consultants and authorities.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and other trades for project specifications and issues.
• Oversee all structural/civil works on site and ensure drawings are followed.
• Attend meetings including technical meetings.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing a team of Structural coordinators in the design and coordination works;
• Design, analysis and plan for Civil & Structural engineering works
• Prepare design calculations, drawings and carry out Authority submissions
• Responsible for timely submission of plans and reports to Consultant and Authorities
• To coordinate & liaise with consultant, sub-con and other trades eg M&E and architectural for projects specifications & other technical issues
• To assist in project coordination and oversee of all structural/Civil works on site and ensure all related activities are carried out as per drawings
• Attend meetings inclusive technical meetings
• Keep track of test reports, tests, ST, Green Mark scheme and constructability scheme
• Document control and compilation accordance to company ISO standard

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering / Building
• Good knowledge of Structural specifications & requirements
• Strong in design concept, familiar with Eurocodes and local authorities submission.
• Min 5-8 years’ of working experiences in main contractor companies or consultancy firm
• Highly motivated and independent with excellent team spirit and communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills
