Job summary

China Construction(South Pacific) Development Company Pte Ltd is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineering professional to lead a team of Structural coordinators and BIM Modellers in design, coordination and on-site oversight of large-scale commercial projects.

You will prepare calculations, drawings and authority submissions while coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and other trades to ensure specifications are met.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering / Building.
• Good knowledge of Structural specifications & requirements.
• 5-8 years’ of working experiences in main contractor companies preferably in large scale commercial projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Structural coordinators and BIM Modellers in design and coordination.
• Design, analysis and plan for Civil & Structural engineering works.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings and submissions to Authorities.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and other trades for project specifications and technical issues.
• Oversee on-site structural/civil works and ensure drawings are followed.
• Attend technical meetings and site walks during construction.
• Track test reports, ST, Green Mark scheme and constructability schemes.
• Document control and ISO-compliant records.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing a team of Structural coordinators and BIM Modellers in the design and coordination works;

• Design, analysis and plan for Civil & Structural engineering works

• Prepare design calculations, drawings and carry out Authority submissions

• Responsible for timely submission of plans and reports to Consultant and Authorities

• To coordinate & liaise with consultant, sub-con and other trades eg M&E and architectural for projects specifications & other technical issues

• To assist in project coordination and oversee of all structural/Civil works on site and ensure all related activities are carried out as per drawings

• Attend meetings inclusive technical meetings (not withstanding to minutes down the meeting if necessary) and site walks during the construction phase of project

• Keep track of test reports, tests, ST, Green Mark scheme and constructability scheme

• Document control and compilation accordance to company ISO standard

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering / Building

• Good knowledge of Structural specifications & requirements

• 5-8 years’ of working experiences in main contractor companies preferably in large scale commercial projects
