Job summary

Rich Construction Company Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to lead a team of Structural Coordinators and BIM Modellers on large-scale commercial projects in Singapore.

You will design and coordinate civil and structural works, prepare calculations and drawings, liaise with consultants and authorities, and ensure on-site coordination and timely submissions. Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, 5–8 years in main contractor roles, and strong

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering / Building.
• 5-8 years’ experience in main contractor companies, preferably on large-scale commercial projects.
• Good knowledge of structural specifications & requirements.
• Highly motivated and independent with excellent team spirit and communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Structural coordinators and BIM Modellers for design and coordination works.
• Design, analysis and planning for Civil & Structural engineering works.
• Prepare design calculations and drawings; carry out Authority submissions.
• Ensure timely submission of plans and reports to Consultants and Authorities.
• Coordinate and liaise with consultants, subcontractors and other trades (M&E, architectural) on project specs and technical issues.
• Assist in project coordination and oversee structural/Civil works on site per drawings.
• Attend technical meetings and site walks during construction phase; document minutes if needed.
• Track test reports, tests, ST, Green Mark scheme and constructability aspects.
• Maintain document control and compile per ISO standards.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing a team of Structural coordinators and BIM Modellers in the design and coordination works;

• Design, analysis and plan for Civil & Structural engineering works

• Prepare design calculations, drawings and carry out Authority submissions

• Responsible for timely submission of plans and reports to Consultant and Authorities

• To coordinate & liaise with consultant, sub-con and other trades eg M&E and architectural for projects specifications & other technical issues

• To assist in project coordination and oversee of all structural/Civil works on site and ensure all related activities are carried out as per drawings

• Attend meetings inclusive technical meetings (not withstanding to minutes down the meeting if necessary) and site walks during the construction phase of project

• Keep track of test reports, tests, ST, Green Mark scheme and constructability scheme

• Document control and compilation accordance to company ISO standard

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering / Building

• Good knowledge of Structural specifications & requirements

• 5-8 years’ of working experiences in main contractor companies preferably in large scale commercial projects
