Job summary

VRL Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Tender lead to drive preparation and submission of tender documents, analyze drawings, and estimate costs across sectors.

You will manage commercial aspects and ensure compliance to support accurate reporting and budgeting for construction projects. The role involves reviewing contracts, procurement processes, and client communications to identify issues, while developing best-practice processes to improve budgeting accuracy and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Identify tender opportunities using GeBIZE to support business growth
• Prepare detailed tender submissions to secure project contracts
• Apply knowledge of reinstatement and maintenance work to inform tender and project planning
• Review and analyze tender drawings and documentation to assess project scope and requirements
• Review procurement processes and contracts to ensure compliance with legal and commercial standards
• Manage commercial aspects of projects to deliver accurate and reliable financial reporting
• Review incoming correspondence from clients, consultants, and design teams to identify critical contractual issues and initiate timely responses
• Estimate costs for a variety of projects across multiple sectors to support competitive bidding
• Develop and implement best practice commercial processes to improve budgeting accuracy
• Maintain detailed and accurate records to support commercial tracking and cost control
• Conduct on-site measurements of electrical services to verify project specifications
• Prepare specialist sub-contract work packages to facilitate project execution
• Compile monthly commercial progress reports to track project financial status
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Construction Manager to support project delivery
