Job summary

AKP CONTRACT SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day facility operations, plan schedules, forecast resources, and manage on-site material storage.

You will supervise staff, conduct interviews, ensure safety policies, handle emergencies, and maintain confidential information while coordinating with clients and contractors. The role requires proactive teamwork and the ability to meet tight deadlines, with responsibilities spanning project goals,

Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day operations of the facility.
• Schedule preparation, pre-planning and resource forecasting to all activities relating to the project.
• Monitor and control material management on site as to ensure proper storage and unnecessary wastage.
• Foster positive communications and relationships with team members, management, vendors and clients.
• Provide for site safety and security, devise and implement site policies and procedures.
• Handle emergencies appropriately according to established procedures, prepare and file accident reports.
• Supervise and evaluate staff, complete employee reviews; keep accurate records of employee attendance and timesheets; provide positive direction to motivate quality performance, discipline personnel when necessary and appropriate.
• Interview candidates; onboard and train new hires.
• Set project goals and oversee projects to completion, schedule and track assignments.
• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Communicate with customers regarding products and services.
• Liase and work closely with contractor.
• Proactive, good team player with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
