Job summary

TOPSCIENCE (S) PTE LTD is seeking a Construction Site Supervisor to oversee on-site activities, mobilize resources, and ensure adherence to design specifications. You will negotiate with builders, perform inspections, and report progress to the project team.

Requirements include an engineering diploma/degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience. The role involves on-site security enforcement and supporting engineering design changes as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in engineering discipline is required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction site and mobilize personnel and resources.
• Negotiate with builders to determine construction plans and standards.
• Apply building principles, conduct inspections and tests to meet design specs and material standards.
• Report progress and construction status to architect or civil engineer.
• Convey construction essentials and assist in explaining specification issues.
• Assist with changes on engineering design.
• Enforce on-site security and conduct inspections.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Responsible for the supervision, mobilization, negotiation, audit, personnel and resources at the construction site and other engineering work
• Negotiate with builders to determine construction plans, standards and procedures
• During construction, apply building principles and construction knowledge, conduct practical inspections and tests, and supervise the project to meet design specifications and material standards
• Report progress and construction status to architect or civil engineer
• Convey construction essentials and assist in explaining construction specification issues
