Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Chinese dishes according to recipes, menus and standards.
• Prepare ingredients such as meat, seafood, vegetables, sauces, marinades and stocks.
• Maintain consistent food quality, taste, presentation and portion sizes.
• Ensure food is prepared on time for daily operations, catering orders or meals.
• Monitor ingredient freshness and assist with proper storage.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene of equipment and work area.
• Follow Singapore food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.
• Control food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
• Assist with stock checking and inform supervisors when replenishment is needed.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Carry out other kitchen duties as assigned by Head Chef or management.
