Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable engineer to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on chillers for existing clients in Singapore.

You will oversee maintenance, diagnose root causes, coordinate with subcontractors, and provide technical support. The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor in Engineering and substantial experience in chiller or heating/cooling plant engineering, with strong troubleshooting and communication skills for 24/7 service inquiries.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Multi-year experience in engineering for chillers or heating/cooling plants.
• Chiller/Plant operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct site surveys and plan compressor overhaul with subcontractors.
• Broad knowledge of chiller or heating/cooling plant engineering.
• Ability to explain technical issues to customers.
• General mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Attend customer enquiries and complaints, including 24/7 service calls.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance work.
• Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance work for existing customer chillers (periodical, annual, compressor overhaul).
• Troubleshooting chillers, diagnosing root causes and countermeasures.
• Instruct subcontractors on technical matters for chiller maintenance and commissioning.
• Provide technical support and recommendations to customers.
• Increase after-service sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform new chiller commissioning work with required tools and materials.
• Instruct subcontractors on technical matters for commissioning.
• Provide technical support and recommendations to customers.
• Communicate about chiller commissioning with customers, service providers, subcontractors and engineers.

• Preventive maintenance work for existing customer chillers such as periodical maintenance, annual maintenance, Compressor overhaul etc.

• Troubleshooting work for existing chillers such as diagnose root cause, consideration of countermeasure.

• Instruct to Subcontractor about technical matter for chiller maintenance

• Technical support and recommendation to customer

• Increase of after service sales

• Satisfaction of customer

• New chiller commissioning work including preparation of necessary tool and material

• Instruct to Subcontractor about technical matter for chiller commissioning

• Technical support and recommendation to customer

• Communication for chiller commissioning with related member (Customer, service provider, subcontractor, Engineer etc.)

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

• Multi-year experience on engineer in chiller or/and heating/cooling plant engineering business.

• Chiller/Plant operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting

• Conduct site survey, plan and schedule for chiller compressor overhaul with sub-contractor

• A wide range of knowledge on chiller or/and heating/cooling plant engineering.
