TRADERS HOTEL MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Stewarding Supervisor to oversee daily stewarding operations and ensure the cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment.

You will lead the stewarding team, manage scheduling, performance, coaching and training, while controlling inventory and costs. The role supports F&B operations with a focus on hygiene, waste disposal and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in stewarding operations, preferably in hotel or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage a team effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, sanitation and workplace safety practices.

• Oversee daily stewarding operations to ensure cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment.
• Supervise staff scheduling, rostering, performance management, coaching and training.
• Manage inventory and cost control including stock levels, breakage records and departmental expenses.
• Ensure timely support for F&B operations, including buffet and banquet setups and proper waste disposal.
• Monitor health and sanitation standards through regular inspections and compliance with pest control practices.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to maintain service quality and cost efficiency.

Description du poste

Oversee daily stewarding operations to ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of kitchen areas, washing equipment, chinaware, glassware, flatware and other operating equipment.

Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in accordance with hotel policies, Shangri-La Food Safety Management System (SFSMS) and relevant NEA standards.

Supervise and lead the stewarding team, including staff scheduling, rostering, performance management, coaching and training.

Manage inventory and cost control, including stock levels, breakage records, equipment purchases, labour costs and departmental expenses.

Ensure timely support for F&B operations, including daily buffet and banquet setups, kitchen cleaning, silverware polishing and proper waste disposal.

Monitor health, safety and sanitation standards through regular inspections and ensure compliance with pest control and safe working practices.

Coordinate with suppliers and external contractors to maintain service quality, cleanliness and cost efficiency.

Promote environmental sustainability through proper food waste segregation, recycling and responsible use of resources.
