Renard International Hospitality Search Consultants is seeking an Executive Director of Sales based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to lead the Sales and Revenue divisions of a luxury resort. The role emphasizes strategic growth, international partnerships, and an emphasis on luxury travel networks.

The candidate will drive profitability, oversee a high-performing team, and build relationships with global luxury networks while traveling extensively to key markets across Asia and beyond.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive sales and revenue leadership experience within luxury hotels, resorts, or internationally recognized hospitality brands.
• At least five years of senior Sales leadership experience in roles such as Director of Sales or Executive Director of Sales.
• Strong knowledge of luxury consortia, partner programmes, tour operators, and distribution channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the resort's overall Sales and Revenue strategy in line with luxury positioning.
• Lead international luxury leisure and travel trade strategies across key feeder markets.
• Drive revenue growth, market share, rate integrity, and optimal business mix.
• Establish annual sales plans, budgets, forecasts, targets, and market strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Sales and Revenue team.
