Job summary

SEARCHASIA CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Account Manager to oversee finance operations, reporting, treasury, and compliance in a dynamic Singapore-based business.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of Singapore financial reporting standards, and the ability to provide strategic financial insights to the CEO, Board and shareholders. You will guide governance, control frameworks, and a high-performing finance team.

Qualifications

• Accountancy degree holder, ideally with a recognised professional accounting certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, taxation, treasury, cash flow, budgeting and overall finance operations.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing, management reporting, forecasting and statutory reporting.
• Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to the CEO, Board and shareholders to support business decisions
• Strengthen financial controls, risk management and governance frameworks, including inventory, revenue recognition, working capital and customer deposits
• Lead finance-related workstreams for strategic transactions and establish reporting and governance standards required for potential listing readiness.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks and professional advisers while building and developing a high-performing finance team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, taxation, treasury, cash flow, budgeting and overall finance operations.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing, management reporting, forecasting and statutory reporting.
• Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to the CEO, Board and shareholders to support business decisions
• Strengthen financial controls, risk management and governance frameworks, including inventory, revenue recognition, working capital and customer deposits
• Lead finance-related workstreams for strategic transactions and establish reporting and governance standards required for potential listing readiness.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks and professional advisers while building and developing a high-performing finance team.

Requirements

• Accountancy degree holder, ideally with a recognised professional accounting certification.
• Proven exposure to finance operations within an SGX-listed or similar publicly traded organisation.
• Experienced in statutory and corporate reporting, audit processes, financial controls and supporting Board-level governance matters.
• Well-versed in Singapore financial reporting standards, consolidation, tax, treasury and liquidity management.
• Experience in businesses with significant inventory, cash-flow and working-capital requirements, such as automotive, retail or distribution, would be beneficial.
