Job summary

cmc renov pte. ltd. in Singapore seeks a seasoned Finance Manager to oversee end-to-end accounting operations, month-end and year-end closes, and prepare management accounts under SFRS.

You will manage cash flow, AP/AR, and project cost monitoring for renovation and furniture manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Accounting/Finance, CPA/ACCA preferred, at least eight years in finance leadership, solid knowledge of Singapore standards and tax, and proficiency in Python,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• CPA/ACCA qualification preferred.
• 8+ years of finance management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end accounting operations, month‑end & year‑end closing, prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements compliant with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Manage cash flow, accounts payable & accounts receivable, project cost monitoring for renovation and furniture manufacturing projects.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, provide financial insights to management for decision‑making.
• Coordinate statutory reporting, corporate tax filing, liaise with auditors, tax consultants and banks.
• Establish and improve internal financial controls and workflows for project‑based business.
• Monitor project profitability and conduct cost analysis for renovation contracts and furniture production orders.
• Review financial documents and support contract financial assessment for regulatory compliance.

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, provide financial insights to management for business decision‑making.
• Coordinate statutory reporting, corporate tax filing, liaise with external auditors, tax consultants and banking institutions.
• Establish and improve internal financial controls, finance policies and workflows for project‑based business.
• Monitor project profitability, conduct cost analysis for renovation contracts and furniture production orders.
• Review financial documents, support commercial contract financial assessment, ensure full regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• Master ’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline. CPA / ACCA qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years working experience in finance management, preferably in construction, renovation or manufacturing industry.
• Solid knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, corporate tax and statutory compliance requirements.
• Proficient in Python, VBA, MS Excel, accounting ERP systems; strong analytical, problem‑solving skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin.
• Highly detail‑oriented, hands‑on, good stakeholder management capability.
