tiong seng contractors (private) limited is seeking a Senior Accountant/Assistant Finance Manager to join our Finance team in Singapore. You will work closely with the Senior Finance Manager on daily finance operations, closing processes, monthly management reports, budgeting and forecasting, and compliance with accounting standards.

You will also manage intercompany reconciliations, cash flow reporting, GST returns, tax computations, and liaise with auditors and external stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualifications is required.
• 8 years of relevant finance experience.
• Experience in construction or engineering industries is highly advantageous.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
• Good understanding of Singapore Corporate tax and GST.
• Experience with Globe 3 or other accounting systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous, organized and able to work under pressure and meet tight timelines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently while being an effective team player.
• Energetic and able to work well in a fast-paced, high work volume, results-oriented, collaborative environment.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare monthly management accounts (including projects under Percentage of Completion) and supporting schedules.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Assist in preparing statutory financial statements and audit schedules.
• Reconcile intercompany balances including billings and payments.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, corporate policies and internal controls.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to provide financial information and analysis to support business operations.
• Support process improvement initiatives and system-related projects as required.
• Cash flow management including preparation of cash flow reports.
• Prepare GST returns and support corporate tax computations.
• Prepare reports and analyses for management and other stakeholders.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and other external stakeholders.
• Oversee day-to-day finance operations (vendor payments, customer collections, cash application, banking, reconciliations).
• Assist in supervising finance team members across subsidiaries.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

About the role
