Job summary

TECHNOPROBE ASIA PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with SFRS(I) and IFRS.

The role collaborates with overseas plants and the Group Finance team, manages intercompany transactions, budgeting, and statutory compliance, and drives cost analysis and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Qualified with degree/diploma in accountancy or finance; professional qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience handling a full set of accounts; at least 3 years in supervision.
• Audit experience and knowledge of SFRS(I)/IFRS and Singapore tax regulations.
• Experience in group reporting, consolidation and intercompany reconciliation.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP); Power BI is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.

• Manage product costing, standard cost updates and variance analysis.

• Lead annual budget and rolling forecasts with department heads.
• Manage statutory audit, corporate tax filings, GST submissions and ACRA compliance.
• Manage cash flow, banking, FX exposure and approvals.

Job description

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with SFRS(I) and Group (IFRS) reporting requirements
• Coordinate with overseas plants and Group Finance to collect, review and consolidate financial data
• Prepare and reconcile intercompany transactions, balances and transfer pricing documentation
• Ensure timely submission of Group reporting packages and meet consolidation deadlines across time zones
• Manage product costing, standard cost updates and variance analysis (material, labour, overhead)
• Oversee inventory valuation, stock count reconciliation and provisions for slow-moving or obsolete stock
• Monitor production cost, yield and capacity utilisation, and provide cost-reduction insights to management
• Lead the annual budget and rolling forecasts in coordination with department heads and Group Finance
• Manage statutory audit, corporate tax filings, GST submissions and ACRA compliance
• Manage cash flow, banking, foreign exchange exposure and payment approvals

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Accountancy or Finance; professional qualification (ISCA CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) is an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of experience handling a full set of accounts, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Audit experience
• Knowledge of SFRS(I) / IFRS, cost accounting and Singapore tax regulations
• Experience in Group reporting, consolidation and intercompany reconciliation
• Experience working with overseas entities or a multinational headquarters
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (SAP or equivalent); Power BI is an advantage
• Strong process analysis and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently, meet tight deadlines and attend occasional calls outside office hours due to time-zone differences.
