Job summary

Subsea7 in Singapore is seeking a Chief Electrician to develop, oversee and carry out maintenance, repairs and modifications of electronic/electrical systems on board the vessel, including high voltage, ensuring compliance with regulations.

You will engage with internal and external stakeholders, grow your capabilities, and bring your real self to a diverse, inclusive work environment; a High Voltage and DP Maintenance certificate is required, with Jack-up vessel experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic qualifications or apprenticeship.
• High Voltage and a recognized DP Maintenance certificate.
• Experience on a Jack up vessel is advantageous.

The Chief Electrician is responsible to the Chief Engineer for developing, overseeing and carrying out maintenance, repairs and modifications of the electronic / electrical systems on board the Ship, including high voltage, and that such systems are in compliance with governing regulations and demands concerning the systems.

We are seeking candidates who want to understand the environment in which we operate in and support effective delivery of our offshore projects, building effective and trusting two-way relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will have a desire to develop yourself, building individual effectiveness and capability to change and deliver.

Applicants will need relevant academic qualifications or evidence of having completed an appropriate apprenticeship or similar in accordance with Flag State requirements. As well as having a High Voltage and a recognized DP Maintenance certificate. Experience working on a Jack up vessel will be advantageous.
