Qualifications

• Requires relevant qualification in Laboratory Technology, Applied Science, Chemistry or related field.
• Good knowledge of laboratory safety practices and chemical handling.
• Able to work independently as well as with teachers and staff.
• Organised, careful, and responsible with good record-keeping.
• Willingness to support laboratory operations in a school context.

Responsibilities

• Prepare chemicals, reagents, specimens and apparatus for chemistry lessons and demonstrations.
• Set up and dismantle laboratory equipment for practical sessions.
• Provide technical support during lessons and for assessments.
• Assist in preparing resources and ICT aids for science lessons and events.
• Maintain inventory and safety of chemicals and equipment.
