Job summary

PRIMESTAFF MANAGEMENT SERVICES PTE LTD is hiring a part-time school administrator to support teachers with a range of administrative and lab-related tasks. The role includes preparing teaching materials, managing inventories, and ensuring the smooth operation of science laboratories.

You will assist during lessons, replenish consumables, and help maintain safety and cleanliness in the science facilities. Requires 2 years in a primary school setting and at least 3 O-Level passes.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Basic knowledge of Primary Science and Primary Mathematics.
• Must have at least 3 O Level passes.
• Two years of relevant experience in a primary school environment.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers with administrative duties and inventory management.
• Handle stock-taking and inventory of teaching resources.
• Assist in collection and management of food waste for recycling programmes.
• Prepare and organise teaching materials and learning resources.
• Update inventory records and maintain resource databases.
• Prepare, set up and clear away apparatus and materials for Science and Mathematics lessons.
• Assist during lessons by preparing materials and replenishing consumables.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of Science laboratories and storage areas.
• Maintain science equipment and resources, including wear-and-tear checks and reporting faults.
• Monitor consumables and assist in sourcing quotations for science resources.
• Ensure safe storage, labelling and handling of chemicals and materials.
• Assist in stock checks and annual inventory verification of science equipment.
• Assist in logistics for science-related programmes and events.
• Comply with school laboratory safety policies.
• Perform other administrative or operational duties as assigned.
