Job summary

The Garcha Group is hiring for a kitchen-focused associate at our Singapore properties. You will support daily food preparation, set up stations, and assist chefs to ensure quality dishes across Maxwell Reserve, The Vagabond Club, and The Serangoon House.

• Professional Certificate/NITEC or equivalent is required.
• Fluent English communication is essential.
• Hospitality/catering experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain kitchen workstations with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients and portion meat, vegetables, sauces for service.
• Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Coordinate with kitchen team to ensure efficient, timely food prep.
• Follow instructions from Executive/Sous Chefs and senior kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and stock rotation to minimize waste.
• Monitor inventory and replenish ingredients as needed.
• Ensure food quality, temperature, and service timeliness.
