Job summary

The Garcha Group in Singapore is seeking a Kitchen Associate to join our boutique hotel team across Maxwell Reserve and The Vagabond Club. You will set up workstations, prepare ingredients, and help execute high-quality dishes in line with our standards.

Candidates should have at least a Professional Certificate/NITEC, 2–3 years in hospitality, and strong English communication. We offer Marriott-affiliated benefits, staff discounts, and a yearly staycation perk in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Professional certificate or NITEC in hospitality or culinary field.
• English proficiency for guest communication.
• 2–3 years of relevant hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain kitchen workstations with essential ingredients and tools.
• Prepare ingredients, portion meat, and assist with sauces and plating.
• Cook menu items following established recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely, consistent service.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas.
• Monitor stock levels and rotate supplies to minimize waste.
• Adhere to food hygiene regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to deliver guest satisfaction.
