Job summary

BQ SEAFOOD HOUSE PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member to prepare seafood dishes and meal components at your station under the head chef's guidance. You will collaborate with the culinary team to deliver high-quality food and service, while maintaining kitchen safety and sanitation and managing supplies.

You will be expected to follow directions, stay organized during busy shifts, and contribute to a positive team environment, including availability for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Culinary school certification is preferred.
• Past experience in a similar culinary role is desired.
• Passion for delivering great food and service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specific food items and meal components at your assigned station to meet quality standards.
• Follow directions provided by the head chef to ensure consistency and efficiency in food preparation.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to deliver high-quality food and excellent service to customers.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work area in the kitchen according to best practices for safety and sanitation.
• Conduct stocktaking and order supplies for your station to ensure availability of ingredients and materials.
• Improve food preparation methods by applying feedback from supervisors and team members.
• Assist in other kitchen areas as needed to support smooth operations and teamwork.
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently and stay organized during busy shifts.
• Communicate clearly and listen attentively to team members and supervisors to coordinate work effectively.
• Work well within a team environment to contribute to a positive and productive kitchen atmosphere.
• Be available to work shifts during weekends and holidays as required.
