Job summary

RED CHAMBER PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated kitchen assistant to support the Senior Chef across multiple locations.

You will measure ingredients, prep meals, manage inventory, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment throughout various sites. Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, checking quality, stocking supplies, disposing of expired items, and reporting stock levels to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Job Summary

You will support the Senior Chef by accurately measuring ingredients, preparing meals, managing kitchen inventory, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment across various locations.

Responsibilities

• Measure meal ingredients accurately to support the Senior Chef's meal preparation
• Prepare meals by washing, peeling, seasoning, and chopping vegetables and meats according to instructions
• Prepare basic sauces as directed by the Senior Chef to ensure consistent meal quality
• Receive deliveries and verify that all ordered items are present and meet quality standards
• Take inventory of restaurant supplies and notify relevant personnel when stock levels are low to maintain kitchen operations
• Dispose of expired and spoiled food items from stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers to ensure food safety
• Clean and sanitize all workstations to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment
• Manage kitchen procurement and report stock levels to support efficient kitchen operations
