Job summary

A leading shipping organization in Singapore is seeking an Assistant/Chartering Manager responsible for fleet procurement and market analysis. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree related to Maritime Studies and at least 4 years of relevant experience. You will work closely with internal teams on fleet activities and manage relationships with shipowners and brokers. A competitive salary and benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant experience with understanding of vessel operations and maritime law.
• 1 year experience in shipping related field for the Executive level.
• Prior experience in chartering ships is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage fleet procurement for mid- and short-term charters.
• Conduct market analysis in Time Charter and Sale & Purchase markets.
• Oversee incumbent fleets, including hire, delivery, and redelivery.
• Support charter-in and charter-out operations.
