CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Centre Manager to coordinate all aspects of a portfolio for a CBRE property. You will support the Asset Manager in ensuring compliance with policies, managing tenant relations, rent collection, and budget preparation.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills and experience in managing a large team. Based in Singapore, the position focuses on property operations, inspections, and coordinating move-ins/move-outs while upholding CBRE's standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of procedures and standards to solve problems.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate possible solutions and apply judgment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present information clearly.
  • Knowledge of financial terms and principles.
  • Experience managing a large team in mixed development/commercial projects.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure services comply with policies, procedures, regulations and contractual obligations and standards.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and approve alterations, maintenance, and reconditioning.
  • Respond to escalated tenant needs and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate tenants' move-ins and move-outs, and conduct space walkthroughs.
  • Collect rent and pay expenses per lease terms; prepare legal notices and coordinate action.
  • Review and reconcile tenant rent and CAM recovery charges.
  • Forecast management plans and prepare monthly performance reports with variance explanations.
  • Gather data for annual budget; apply standard principles to tasks and solve routine problems.
  • Maintain broad knowledge of own discipline and related areas; contribute to team knowledge.
  • Lead by example, align with CBRE RISE values, and collaborate to reach agreements.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a CBRE Centre Manager, you will support the Asset Manager to coordinate all aspects of a portfolio. This job is part of the Property Management job function. They are responsible for operating buildings on behalf of a client or group.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Confirm that services are provided in compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and contractual obligations and standards.
  • Ensure regular property inspections occur. Recommend and approve alterations, maintenance, and reconditioning.
  • Respond to escalated tenant needs, ensuring that issues get resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate tenants move-ins and move-outs, and "walk-through" spaces and tenant improvement department.
  • Collect rent and pay expenses in compliance with lease terms. Prepare all required legal notices and coordinates legal action.
  • Review and reconcile tenant rent and Common Area Maintenance recovery charges.
  • Forecasts management plans and prepares monthly performance, explaining variances.
  • Gather data to provide information for the annual budget preparation process. Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
  • Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.
  • Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
  • Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
  • Bachelor's Degree with relevant experience in commercial property. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to tenants. Ability to effectively present information.

  • Requires to manage a large team, preferably candidates with experience in managing a team in mixed development/commercial projects
