Job summary

Food Evolution – Wholesome Choice Concept Pte Ltd is hiring a Part-Time Pastry Assistant for our Central Kitchen in Tai Seng. The role runs five days a week (Mon–Sat), with daily shifts of 6.5 to 8 hours, in a fast-paced central kitchen environment.

You’ll assist in preparing pastries, cakes and bakery products, support with measuring ingredients, mixing, baking and decorating, and help with portioning, packing and labeling finished goods, while maintaining high hygiene and quality standards.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Interest in pastry, baking and food preparation.
• Able to work in a fast-paced central kitchen.
• Willing to learn and follow instructions.
• Responsible, hardworking and a good team player.
• Able to maintain good hygiene and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and producing pastries, cakes and bakery products.
• Support the pastry team in measuring ingredients, mixing, baking and decorating.
• Assist with portioning, packing and labelling finished products.
• Ensure product quality, consistency and presentation meet company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry production area.
• Handle ingredients, utensils and equipment properly.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Assist with ingredient preparation and stock arrangement when required.
• Work closely with the pastry team to meet daily production schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
