Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, located at SG-01-SINGAPORE-061 ~ 61 Seletar Aerospace View ~ SELETAR BLDG 61, Pratt & Whitney Singapore Component Repair, Singapore, is seeking a supervisory leader to manage the Engine Component Repair Cell onsite with a team of up to 30 technicians.

You will drive productivity, implement Smart Factory initiatives, oversee manpower planning, reporting and cross-functional collaboration to meet targets and cost efficiency goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent disciplines.
• Min 3 years' experience in production, operations or manufacturing in supervisory role.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve business goals.
• Demonstrated problem solving and leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Experience using SAP or equivalent enterprise systems.
• Process and detail oriented, including strong interpersonal and prioritization skills.
• Lean manufacturing or repair experience with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL, with the ability to apply coding skills to data analysis, automation, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Implement Smart Factory initiatives and continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity and reduce cycle time.
• Oversee manpower planning, resource allocation, and overtime management to optimize performance.
• Manage and report the production outputs and sales targets.
• Drive employee engagement through effective communication, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Support staffing, training, and development to build team capability and succession readiness.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Finance, HR, and Materials teams to meet business objectives.
• Monitor and report production outputs, sales targets, and operational KPIs.
• Lead productivity and CORE projects to reduce cost, improve quality and cycle time.
• Support and participate in the EH&S programs and activities within the company.
• Participate in audits and inspections as and when required.
