Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, seeks a hands-on engineering leader to supervise an engineering and technician team in our onsite workshop in Singapore. You will oversee disassembly, inspection, repair and assembly of engine modules, ensuring compliance with data and standard processes.

Key responsibilities include solving technical issues, enabling TPM, and supporting production targets while participating in cross-functional meetings and adhering to EH&S and ethics standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of relevant operation experience and man management in aerospace.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of SAP and Solumina software.
• Experience with PW4000 and PW1100 engine models.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Assistant Foremen, Cell Leaders, Workshop Engineers and technicians.
• Ensure disassembly, inspection, repair and assembly per data and standard work processes.
• Resolve technical issues encountered in daily operations.
• Ensure TPM on equipment is performed on time.
• Support AFM in daily operations to meet production targets.
• Attend Tier1 and Tier2 meetings.
• Adhere to EH&S, ethics, and procedures.
• Perform SAP transactions and cross-functional duties as needed.

What You Will Do

• Lead and supervise a team of Assistant Foremen (AFM)/Cell Leaders, Workshop Engineers (WE) & technicians.
• Ensure AFM, WE & technicians perform disassembly, inspect, repair and assembly functions associated with modules, parts, components or accessories in our OEM MRO facility.
• Ensure the work carried out on engine parts are done per current approved technical data and standard work processes.
• Solve technical issues and problems as appropriate when encounter in their daily work.
• Ensure Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) on equipment is performed on time.
• Assist the AFM in their day-to-day operations to achieve production targets, corporate goals and discipline.
• Attending Tier1 and 2 meetings.
• Comply and adhere to the code of ethics as well as EH&S regulations, standards, requirements and procedures.
• Carry out SAP transaction.
• Perform cross-functional jobs within the department if required.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant engineering disciplines Experience in aircraft engine workshop operations & procedures.
• 3 years of relevant operation experience and man management in the aerospace industry.
• Good analytical skills, able to grasp concepts, track and resolve issues quickly.
• Knowledge of SAP and Solumina.
• Experience in PW4000 and PW1100 engine model and completed engine type course.
