Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, is seeking technicians to repair and overhaul aero-engine components and comply with safety, SOPs, and quality standards.

You will support EH&S programs, participate in audits, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a hands-on, team-based environment at the SG facility.

Qualifications

• O' Level or NITEC in Engineering or relevant disciplines.
• 2 years relevant experience or none—keen to pursue aerospace industry.
• Understand basic technical instructions and SOPs.
• Hands-on with equipment, tools and machines.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul aero-engine components via benching, blasting, brazing, blending, polishing, welding, machining or other required mechanical tasks.
• Follow procedures to meet operational and quality standards.
• Support EH&S programs and activities; report incidents and hazards.
• Assess risk and take corrective actions; participate in audits and inspections.
• Attend EH&S training and ensure safety adherence.
• Assist continuous improvement and CORE activities.

What You Will Do

• Repair & overhaul of the aero-engine components by benching, blasting, brazing, blending, polishing, welding, machining, or using other required mechanical skills.


• Follow procedures and guidelines to meet operational requirements and quality standards.


• Support and participate in the EH&S programs and activities within the company.


• Report any incidents, hazardous conditions, and emergencies to the supervisor.


• Perform an assessment of risk of the activities and take corrective and preventive actions.


• To participate in audits and inspections as and when required.


• Attend EH&S training programs and takes personal responsibility to ensure safety adherence.


• Support the continuous improvement programs and CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities within the company.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Min \"O' Level or NITEC in Engineering or relevant disciplines.


• 2 years relevant experience or no experience who are keen to pursue aerospace industry.


• Ability to understand basic technical instructions and standard operation procedures (SOP).


• Comfortable with hands-on work to operate with equipment, tools, and machines.


• A curious and learning mindset - we provide on-the-job trainings and certifications.


• Self-motivated to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.


• Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Willing to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on need basis.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Relevant aerospace, manufacturing, or precision engineering experience.


• Basic working knowledge of MS Office application and SAP.
