Job summary

CELL AGRITECH PTE. LTD. seeks a Tech Transfer – Cell Culture Scientist to drive transfer, scale-up, and optimization of cell culture processes from lab to pilot and production scales.

The role involves hands-on cell culture, bioreactor operations, process monitoring, rigorous documentation, and collaboration across R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure robust technology transfer and successful implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a life sciences discipline related to biotechnology.
• 2–5 years of cell culture/bioprocessing experience preferred.
• Experience with mammalian/fish or other animal cell culture is advantageous.
• Knowledge of GMP, biosafety, and quality systems is a plus.
• Strong documentation and SOP-writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support technology transfer of cell culture processes into the facility.
• Translate customer protocols into internal procedures and batch records.
• Perform hands-on cell culture activities and bioreactor operations.
• Assist scale-up, optimization, characterization, and validation efforts.
• Monitor critical process parameters; plan and run experiments.
• Troubleshoot issues and support root-cause analysis.
• Maintain accurate documentation including SOPs, reports, and transfer docs.
• Support equipment qualification, calibration, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with QA, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, and operations.
