Job summary

British Club, The in Singapore is seeking a motivated Catering Sales professional to manage enquiries and bookings for function rooms, liaise with clients to tailor proposals, and coordinate with the Banquet Operations team to deliver seamless events. You will build lasting relationships with members, guests and corporate clients, maintain accurate records, and contribute to sales reporting.

Weekend and evening availability is required for Club events, with a comprehensive benefits package on

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Hospitality, Business Admin, Marketing or related discipline.
• 2+ years of catering sales, events, banquets, hospitality, or club-industry experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills; strong written and verbal proficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organisational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple events and deadlines.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented; capable of working independently and in a team.
• Experience with event management or reservation systems is a plus.
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and evenings for Club events.

Requirements

• Diploma in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in catering sales, events, banquets, hospitality or the club industry.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills, with strong written and verbal proficiency.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Experience using event management or reservation systems will be an advantage.
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and evenings when required to support Club events.
