Job summary

Changi Airport Group (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Category Manager to expand and grow the eCommerce category within our business development team in Singapore.

You will own merchant acquisition, onboarding and ongoing account management, collaborating with marketing and operations to drive sales growth across assigned categories. You will analyze merchant performance, propose new business ideas, manage range expansions and partnerships, and resolve operational issues related to

Qualifications

• Degree holder with 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Merchandising, eCommerce and/or marketplace experience is necessary.
• Strong industry networks and contacts in the relevant industry preferred.
• Good communication skills, both written and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchant acquisition including prospecting, negotiating and promotions.
• Own merchant onboarding up to contracting and renewals before handing over to Operations.
• In charge of sales targets of merchants and primary contact for them.
• Review merchant performance and conceive growth ideas (range expansion, marketing, partnerships).
• Maintain good relationships and provide value add to partners for long term collaboration.
• Responsible for merchant level performance analysis and supporting monthly business reporting activities.
• Resolve merchant operations issues related to publication, orders, logistics and payments.
• Work cross function with internal stakeholders and other departments to drive sales growth.
• Drive sales through new ideas to improve CM and overall profitability.
