Job summary

Marina Bay Sands is seeking a dedicated seamstress in Singapore to mend and alter employee uniforms and maintain quality across the wardrobe. You will operate sewing equipment, inspect uniforms for wear, and perform duties as assigned by superiors.

Qualifications

• Proven sewing and alteration techniques, including hems, tears and buttons.
• Ability to operate sewing equipment and industrial machines.
• Prior seamstress experience is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Coachable and hardworking attitude; timely, efficient work per company policies.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform mending and sewing works on employee uniform
• Perform alteration on uniforms when necessary
• Inspecting uniforms and ensuring that uniform are in good condition
• Carry out all other duties assigned by superiors

Job Requirements

• Able to exhibit and perform good sewing and alteration techniques (E.g. Sewing hems, fixing tears, mending zippers, securing buttons
• Able to operate sewing equipment
• Prior experience as a seamstress would be an advantage
• Excellent organizational skills with eye for detail
• Have a coachable and hardworking attitude
• Perform all duties and responsibilities timely and efficiently in accordance to company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position
