Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee integrated facilities management for educational campuses in Singapore. The role focuses on safe, compliant, and efficient building management, with emphasis on M&E systems, safety, and stakeholder engagement.

You will lead campus maintenance, manage budgets, contracts, and capital projects while driving continuous improvement and cost efficiency across the client’s portfolio. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant Facilities Management experience, preferably in educational or large-scale environments.
• Experience in IFM operations, contract management, project delivery, and asset management.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, building operations, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and maintenance of campus facilities, including M&E systems, infrastructure, utilities and grounds.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programmes and ensure facilities are safe and reliable for teaching and research.
• Manage contracts, vendors, and outsourced service providers with attention to KPIs, SLAs and compliance.
• Develop and manage operational and capital budgets; monitor expenditure and control costs.
• Lead capital projects, refurbishment works, and asset lifecycle planning to support long-term campus development.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health, fire safety, and statutory regulations, promoting a strong safety culture.
