Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking an IFM Manager to lead M&E and facilities services at SJ Campus. You will oversee preventive maintenance, regulatory compliance, and service partners to deliver a safe, efficient workplace. The role emphasizes leadership, budget management, and proactive risk control for reliable campus operations.

The position requires 5–8 years FM experience, relevant degree, and safety certifications; strong MS Office skills and ability to drive continuous improvement are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Facility Management or related field and relevant safety credentials.
• 5–8 years of experience in FM or related facilities management roles.
• Recognised Fire Safety certificate and registration with Singapore Civil Defence Force as Senior Fire Safety Manager.
• Experience in preventive facility management and safety/environmental safety is required.
• Self-starter able to work independently with limited oversight; strong sense of responsibility.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; ideally Process Green Mark and Water Efficiency Manager certified.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of M&E and soft service executives, technicians, and external specialists.
• Oversee operation, maintenance, and performance of all M&E systems; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance programs for M&E assets.
• Oversee day-to-day soft services: cleaning, pest control, landscape, waste management, security.
• Coordinate inspections, audits, and certifications; maintain records and reports.
• Manage service providers and evaluate vendor performance; participate in procurement processes.
• Monitor energy and sustainability efforts; support Green Mark and energy audits.
• Prepare and manage the maintenance budget and CAPEX plans; provide financial analysis.
• Engage stakeholders and occupants; provide updates on system performance and outages.
• Ensure risk assessments and safe work practices for all M&E work.
