Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking an Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) Manager to lead M&E and non-technical facilities services at SJ Campus. The role focuses on reliability, efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance of building systems, while delivering an exceptional workplace experience.

You will oversee service partners, drive operational excellence, ensure inspection readiness, and maintain a safe campus environment that supports business continuity and organisational objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree in FM / Building Services / Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Fire Safety and Workplace Safety & Health or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of relevant FM experience.
• Recognized Fire Safety certification and SCDF Senior Fire Safety Manager registration.
• Experience in preventive facility management and Fire Safety, Workplace Safety & Health & Environmental Safety & Health.
• Initiative, self-starter attitude, able to work independently with limited oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead M&E and Soft Service executives, technicians and external specialists.
• Oversee operation, maintenance, and performance of all M&E assets.
• Manage day-to-day soft services (cleaning, pest control, landscaping, waste, security).
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety standards; coordinate inspections and certifications.
• Plan and manage M&E upgrade works, retrofits, and asset replacements.
• Manage vendors, procurement processes, and service provider performance.
• Monitor energy consumption and pursue sustainability initiatives (Green Mark, energy audits).
• Maintain asset registers and lifecycle strategies including predictive maintenance.
• Coordinate emergency response and ensure business continuity plans.
• Prepare and manage maintenance budgets and CAPEX plans.
• Engage stakeholders and provide timely technical updates on performance and issues.
